The purpose of this Privacy Policy and KVKK Clarification Text is to fulfill our obligation to inform as a data controller within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and other relevant legislation. It aims to determine the terms and conditions regarding the processing of personal data shared with VİP KART by users/customers/visitors (“Data Subject”) or generated by VİP KART during the Data Subject's use of the website www.vipkart.com.tr (“Site”) operated by VİP KART SİSTEMLERİ LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ.

This text contains information on what Personal Data we collect, for what purpose we use it, and how we process it.

VİP KART attaches maximum importance to protecting the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals, especially the privacy of private life regulated in Article 20 of the Constitution. In this framework, VİP KART ensures that your personal data is protected and processed lawfully in accordance with KVKK No. 6698 and acts with this diligence in all its planning and activities.

Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. The categories of your personal data that may be processed during the services offered by VİP KART are as follows:

  • Identity Information: Name, surname, TR ID Number/Tax Number, ID document number, passport number, nationality, place of birth, date of birth, gender.

  • Contact Information: Phone number, address, e-mail address.

  • Subscription and Transaction Information: Personalization, targeting, products viewed by users, transactions performed, and declarations of intent.

  • Demographic Data: Age, profession, title.

  • Payment and Financial Information: Invoice information, debt information, payment status.

  • Device Information: IMEI, device brand/model/serial number, operating system, network information.

  • Usage and Behavioral Information: Preferences regarding the use of products and services, usage habits, online shopping information.

2. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

As VİP KART, your personal data may be processed in accordance with the legislation for the following purposes, including but not limited to:

  • Provision, pricing, invoicing of products and services, and completion of orders.

  • Execution of VİP KART systems and card transactions and making related notifications.

  • Providing international customer authentication compatible with all devices.

  • Promotion and marketing of products and services, providing targeted advertisements and campaigns.

  • Sending commercial electronic messages, provided that separate explicit consent is obtained in accordance with the legal legislation.

  • Informing candidates about job opportunities if there is a suitable position for those in a job interview relationship with VİP KART.

  • Training employees and auditing processes to increase service quality.

  • Taking necessary technical and administrative measures for data security, copying, and backup.

  • Fulfillment of legal obligations, especially Laws No. 5651 and 5809 and other relevant legislation.

3. TRANSFER OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

VİP KART may share the personal data it collects with the following third parties in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK:

  • Business Partners and Suppliers: Limited to the provision of services and execution of commercial activities.

  • Server Service Providers: Limited to keeping personal data securely in databases located in Turkey and/or abroad.

  • Shareholders and Officials: Limited to strategic planning and auditing purposes.

  • Legally Authorized Public Institutions and Organizations: Limited to the purpose requested by relevant public institutions within their legal authority.

4. METHODS AND LEGAL GROUNDS FOR COLLECTING PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data is collected orally, in writing, or electronically through forms on the website, call centers, e-mail, fax, letters, social networks, or mobile applications. Processing activities are based on legal grounds such as "performance of a contract," "fulfillment of legal obligations," and "legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject" as set out in Article 5 of the KVKK.

5. ANONYMOUS DATA AND DESTRUCTION OF DATA

VİP KART may process your personal data as aggregated anonymous data to analyze statistics regarding usage habits and demographics. Anonymous data does not allow the identification of the users. Personal data is destroyed in accordance with KVKK when the legal retention periods expire or the purpose of processing ceases to exist.

6. RIGHTS OF THE PERSONAL DATA SUBJECT

Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, by applying to VİP KART, you have the right to: learn whether your data is processed, request information if processed, check compliance with the purpose of processing, request correction of incomplete or incorrect data, and request the deletion of data.
